Welcome to your Monday Night Raw Review for April 1st, 2024.

It is not April Fool's Day for much longer, less than half an hour.

No April Fool's jokes here.

It's always the thing I hate most about this day

But we are kicking off the month of April here with the go home episode of raw that is what we had tonight

Not very far from where I am right now actually here in Brooklyn they were at the

Barclay Center they're setting all kinds of records 13 consecutive sellouts I believe

was the number something crazy like like that. They're packing

a minute every single week. They had 15,000 plus at the Barclay Center tonight.

The final raw before WrestleMania 40. And it was a Monday night raw with a strong open, a commercial free open with the

bloodline, which is entirely why they were commercial free, I'm sure, in that first hour.

And a red-hot closing angle, a classic old-school wrestling

beat-down angle to take us out of the show

and into WrestleMania Saturday in the big tag team match with Rock and

Roman Reigns taking on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. So they open strong, they

closed strong. There were a few things in the middle of the show that I liked. I

thought there was some good stuff in the middle,

but there were also parts of that second and third hour

that kind of died.

And frankly, I think the commercial free first hour

had a lot to do with that because as I always say

Be careful what you wish for because you get a commercial free first hour or 50 minutes is really what it is
