Tonight was the end of an era.

It was the final Monday Night Raw on USA Network.

Final Monday Night Raw on over-the-air television before the Netflix era begins.

It is finally upon us.

The beginning of this $5 billion deal takes place next year, which is only one week away. Raw will move to Netflix. It was also,

though, more importantly, the final two-hour edition of Monday Night Raw, which has me very sad.

So I don't know where you may be watching this right now, but pour one out for two-hour raws.

It's too bad because I really felt like they were getting into the groove of the two-hour

format recently, and now they're going back to three, or whatever it ends up being.

I mean, next week's show may well be more than three hours.

I wouldn't be shocked if next week's show was three and a half hours.

We don't exactly know how long the show is going to be next week. But going forward,

Smackdown's going to be three hours starting this Friday, and Raw will be comparable

every Monday night. Tonight was one giant infomercial, basically, for the move to Netflix,

which it had to be. Raw is moving homes want to let the audience know even though they were constantly for for weeks now driving

going to have people who are going to flip on

USA next week and be like where's raw but you want to try to minimize that as much as possible and to

that end they did what they had to do but this was a lame duck show as many of the shows the last

couple of weeks have felt like really ever since saturday night's main, all of these shows feel like lame duck shows, even Smackdown.

But even though it was a lame duck show and there wasn't a whole lot that happened,

it was not a show completely devoid of anything good because we actually had two excellent segments
