Hello and welcome to the NXT review. I'm Adam Wilborn from WhatCulture joined by the

dadly boys of WhatCulture, Michael Hampler, and my procedure to look back on everything

that happened on last night's episode of NXT. But before we get into it, if you're a fan

of NXT ahead of TakeOver 36. What do you reckon, Hampler?

I reckon that maybe NXT Redemption really has come back because this was a show where

interesting things happened on a show that wasn't interesting, if that makes sense.

This wasn't some sort of two hour thrill ride, but it wasn't sure on talking points, some

of them accidental, some of them weird, a couple of them tied to storylines. I found

this a total slog with these occasional bizarre flashpoints that I've, like, found as

I'm looking forward to getting into with YouTube, awfully strange episode this.

I can't disagree with that. My prevailing take, I'll give you two, on a functional level,

yes, this did the boring things to get people to take over. As a measure against the actual

lowest curve possible, did this function to build interest theoretically in the upcoming

takeover as Go Home show? Yes, it did. Did I enjoy any of it? Yes, I did, actually.

There were three things that I really, really, really enjoyed on this episode of NXT, so

I have to consider it a triumph, if not enjoyable, it was merely good.
