Solomonster reviews WWE Crown Jewel 2023 with LA Knight challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE championship and falling to the usual Bloodline nonsense. Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre steal the show, but otherwise, there wasn't much for them to steal to win that honor. Kairi Sane is back though and she's aligned with IYO SKY, which makes things a little more interesting when it comes to Damage CTRL. And Logan Paul is the new United States champion, but will that now make TWO absentee champions on Friday nights?

WWE Crown Jewel, 2023 is in the books.

Here it is Saturday, November 4th, 2023, I am the Solomonster.

And still, your undisputed W. W. Universal Champion to the surprise of absolutely no one is Roman Reigns.

0:19.0

We had the usual bloodline bullshit at the end of our main event here tonight. We had Jimmy

0:24.8

Uso getting involved. We had Solos Dakota trying to get involved. LA Knight, he

0:30.3

put up a valiant effort. He put up a fight and in the end he took the same

0:35.9

spear and the same pinfall that so many before him have taken. There's no shame

0:41.0

in it right we've seen the same thing happen to Drew McIntyre we've seen the same thing happen to

0:46.4

Sammy Zane and Cody Rhodes and Jay Uso and countless other people over the last three and a half years.

0:54.0

What I think was quite suspect though was having four straight matches

0:59.1

closing out this show all with interference, distractions, interference, at least break it up a little bit, right?

1:08.6

I understand them wanting to use Cody and Damian Priests as the buffer match there towards the end. I get that. So yeah, four straight matches with interference to close out this show I thought was a bit much. But I look, there's going to be people who were upset that LA night did not go over you should not be because at no point was LA night realistically going to be the one to take the championship from Roman rains

1:32.3

After three and a half years were coming into Royal Rumble

1:35.3

in WrestleMania season.

1:37.1

The worst thing they could have done

1:39.3

was do some kind of a dusty finish.

1:41.8

I had people telling me maybe they can switch the title but then it turns

1:46.2

out he didn't actually really win the belt and they could put it back on Roman reigns.

1:50.3

That would have been the worst thing that you could do.

1:53.0

So the outcome was really not a surprise, but watching the same bloodline interference,

1:59.0

month after month, PLE after PLE, it gets exhausting, it's old.

2:06.4

And this is what people want for another year.
