WWE was live in St. Louis tonight for what they said could quite possibly be the final match ever between John Cena and Randy Orton, 31 world championships between these two men. They had their very first match in 2001 before they were even in WW.

This has been a long, as WWE would say, a storied rivalry between these two.

They want you so badly to believe this has been just an all-time classic feud.

Whatever you think of these two, wherever you think this feud falls in the history books of great feuds in WWE history. It was never one of my

favorites. But I didn't know what to expect tonight because it was really all about the crowd in

St. Louis. They were in Randy Orton's hometown. You cannot pick a better place to have

heal John Cena defend his championship against Randy Orton. I said coming into

the show, it was all going to come down to this crowd. This crowd, are they going to will this match

into an all-time classic? Is that enough to carry this match? Because what we have seen from

John Sina over the last several years,

and in particular even this year, since he, you know, won the championship and came back to

WWE, is a John Sina that is very different in ring from the one that we saw many years ago

in those earlier matches with Randy Orton.

This is a John Sina that has a ceiling to what he can do.

That much is clear.

So a lot of the heavy lifting would have to be done by Randy Orton in this match.

And they went out there tonight and they had a main event that I will say.

And I already saw some of the comments earlier in the chat.

And I agree that the main event tonight was better

than the main event that we got on night two of WrestleMania. And that should never happen,

by the way. But that is indeed what we got tonight. And I know it's a low bar to set. Okay,
