The rumour mill is like fully staffed. It's very busy and I thought the biggest news this week,

the one that I totally didn't expect, was this business of the names changing, or almost certainly

the names changing of, well, everything, really.

Did you see this coming? Can you explain it all to me?

So there's a lot going on here.

Seems that with the redesign, Apple wanted to kind of openly make a decision of let's reunify them through design and reunify everything through

naming and now instead of referring to each one basically ever since macOS x we've

referred to yeah yeah yeah. Mac OS letter.

We've referred to them numerically and iterated on them by one, depending on which year they were released.

So right now we have iOS 18, VisionOS 2, watchOS 11.

It's very easy to figure out if you think about it.
