It's been two weeks since we talked. It has been. Do I have anything crazy? No, but we did have to put my dog down, unfortunately. Like, yeah, Memorial Day weekend. Yeah, I was very sad to hear that. I've got a chance to see him several times on the camera. Yeah, he just was old. He was shitting himself. And it was just, like, he was just a mess. He could barely walk. Like, he had some issues. So it was time. It was tough. But they gave us his remains back. All his remains, that sounds terrible. They gave us his ashes back. And they clipped some of his fur and did paw prints and it was really super nice.

It was just, they were like a really good hospital that we brought him to.

So it wasn't as dramatic as I thought.

It was going to be bringing him in because he is, he's, he's had like dementia, I think.

He was like walking in circles and like doing all this weird stuff. And so, and you know, I think the tipping part was that, you know, my daughter got off the bus and he like, he bit her. He didn't draw blood or anything, but he bitter. And I was like, all right. It was like he didn't know her. It was just, it was really weird. He's never done that in all of her eight years of life. He's never once. I mean, like, he's, he guarded my children. He never, ever would do anything. So I was like, all right, something's really wrong. And then he like, nipped at me a few times. And I'm like, okay, this is not, you're not the same. So instead of putting him through tests and things like that, I was like, you know what, he can't walk. He's got all these problems. It's time to go. It was the right thing to do. So it didn't feel good, but. I knew over the last several months you were saying that he's just having trouble going to the bathroom in the house not being able to make it outside

yeah that kind of stuff so yeah honestly i probably should have put him down six months ago but like

i just was like oh no because he would have like glimmers of like his own self so i'm like am i make

and that's when that's when it gets hard because you don't know like is he he just old or is he like something going on? So we made the call and we just, we put him down. It sucked. It was horrible. I mean, he guarded me till the end. Like awful. But I'm never getting a dog again. So we're fine. Ever. Oh, I'm saying it. I'm, nope. No, no. I can't. Like, it's horrible. Like, I don saying it. I'm nope. No, no. I can't.

Like, it's horrible.

Like, I don't understand. It is, but there's just something about an animal's unconditioning love that adds joy to your life. I agree. We said the same thing when Ninja passed. It was going to be at least a year. We had a new dog in three months. It wouldn't anything a negative against ninja,

but it was just like we just missed that so much. Well, it is weird because like I had to finally,

so like we had his dog dish and stuff and I had to put that away because I kept trying to put

water in it. And I know, you know, I was like, this is not healthy. This is not great.

And part of the grieving process.

So I stuck it away in a closet.
