Summary

Dom's name started blowing up the internet in Week 17 of the NFL season this past year. A few short months after the Packers signed him to their practice squad in October, Dom found himself wide open, with a ball thrown by Aaron Rodgers coming his way. A few seconds later he was celebrating his first NFL touchdown, on his 2nd NFL catch, after one of the most unlikely paths into the League. Dom talks about that process, one that saw multiple college stops along the way, and one that was never easy but for him was the "only option". One of those collegiate pitstops was Iowa City, where Dom was a Hawkeye for more than 2 years. He talks about what he learned playing for Iowa and how it helped prepare him for the NFL. We also discuss staying in shape during COVID lockdown, gaining weight and switching positions, what his approach to diet is as a pro athlete, and what it felt like to sign his first contract.Submit your Blue Wire Hustle application here: http://bwhustle.com/joinLearn more about your ad choices.
