I was reading a lot about your stuff, man, and I know you started your career off in Miami,

especially in the Miami International Airport, where everything and anything kind of gets through

there.

It's a really amazing place.

Tell me about the genesis of your career there.

How did that all start?

What got you into getting into that field and then obviously going up the ranks and, you know, being a part of the ATF?

Yeah, I know for sure. I originally, I wasn't even going law enforcement. I've had a graduate, I think you mentioned before, St. Louis University.

And I had a background political science and history. And I was studying at international relations at FIU, not far from where you're at, Florida and National University.

And I was going to go to law school.

I accepted to a law school up there in Lansing, Michigan.

But of course, Lansing is very cold.

Miami is not.

And law school is also expensive in the mid-90s.

You know, you're looking at between $25,000 a year.

That was all the other expenses.

And I said, well, I just started going with, I got myself a computer and Windows 95 just came out, right?

So this is dating myself, 195 and going on the Internet and people telling us, you know, I'm saying, what are you doing with the Internet?
