0:41.2	I've been in the space as an engineer for a couple years now.
0:45.4	Really got into it because D-Fi is just amazing.
0:48.8	I think financial sovereignty is just an amazing concept.
0:56.0	I'm working on Gito for the last three years. We build MEV software, and along with a couple other things, on Solana.
1:03.0	And, yeah, I mean, it's been wild ride.

1:09.0	I'll introduce myself. I'm Ben. So my background's all in like very in the weeds, computer science, mathematics, high performance
1:16.6	computing style stuff.
1:17.6	We've studied math and CS in school for a few years, interned at two high frequency trading firms,
1:23.6	Akuna Capital and Citadel Securities, became really fascinated by, you know fascinated by trading in market structure and stuff like that.
1:31.3	But at the same time, I was doing a lot of research on blockchain systems and just high performance distributed systems in general.
1:37.3	Became very interested in the intersection between the two and as we'll get into mev considerations are very very relevant to that
1:47.7	and yeah excited to chat a little bit more um about w tf is mev yeah what is it like what is
1:55.6	mavs seriously everybody's done this around uh this this this like obscure, obscure, mysterious acronym. What does that mean
2:01.7	mean, it's a, it's a good question. Mev is sort of this intrinsic property of blockchains
