We've got a kickback from a gentleman named Matt Gerber.

He says, hey guys, I was texting with my buddy who built a log home in Alaska,

he finished it with Q8 log oil. It applies in one coat and he used two, and it's toxic to termites and powder post beetles.

I've never heard about this product being talked about for an outdoor application so I thought I would share it and I looked it up.

It's on Amazon.

The link that he gave us is a five gallon pale,

and I guess if you're doing a log home,

that's why you would want five gallons of this stuff.

And it is 269 bucks for the five gallon thing now I guess if they

make this in smaller quantities it might be something worth looking into for

outdoor applications outdoor, but it says

stops decay, fungi, and mold, toxic to termites, powder post beetles,

superior water repellency, EPA registered wood preservative and rock control.
