Well, speaking of quitting, I have a 2 and 5 8 inch iron on a transitional joint airplane that is just wrecked. I need to replace it. I was wondering if you could

tell me if a standard 2 and 5 8ths inch iron from Stanley will be able to replace that along with the cap iron.

The real problem is that the cap iron is bent all out of shape.

Yeah I got nothing. Any advice for him Shannon? I wouldn't, I don't know that I would try to bend the chipbreaker, the cap iron, whatever we would call it.

I think your best bet is most of them when you're buying a blade you can get a chip breaker with it.

If not, you can certainly find the chip breakers,

Vengeance chip breakers, where I've had a lot of luck buying plain parts is from Liberty Tool up in Maine. You have to pick up the phone

though. There's no like web store here. Just give them a call, tell them what you're looking for,

and all they're really going to be looking for is the width of the blade.
