All right. So Wood Talk number 368, it's a weekend show for March 24th, 2017.

And today's show, we're talking about the dumbest things that we've ever made.

Sort of. I don't know. We'll see where it goes from here.

Inspired by one of our patrons, Kevin Brewer,

he wrote in and said,

this weekend for no other reason

that I watched Carl Jacobson do it,

and I wanted to try it.

I made a stingray on the lathe. The lathe that I've only had for less than a month and really only

made pens and a few handles on. I didn't have the right tools, Rockler pen turning kit,

probably the wrong lathe, Rockler Excelsior mini lathe.

How do you go wrong with anything name Excelsior?

Excelsior, right?

And busted up a finger or two on some catches from using the wrong tools, but I got it

done. I was proud of it in the end and it was a lot of fun to make.
