All right, it is Wood Talk number 234 for April 13, 2015, and we're doing a weekend edition of Wood Talk which means we have one singular topic to discuss

Now this one came in as a request. We're actually talking about our origin stories. So if you already know us and you know our stories, you just may want to tune out on this one. You're not hurting our feelings.

Right. Totally would understand. My family does all the time. Exactly. It'll be just like we're at home.

Go watch a Marvel movie and watch an origin story there.

An origin story, practically?

All right, so Brian Comer Ford was someone who actually sent in a kind donation at

Wood Talk Show.com. He used one of those links on the right-hand side to do that.

And in his email he said, you know, I'd love to hear you guys talk about

how you got into woodworking, who you learned from,

your first real projects, etc.

Sort of an origin story show.

And I thought to myself, well, he just gave me money.

It would be really awkward if I didn't actually do this. So we decided, hey, let's do it. So if you don't like it, you got to blame Brian, but he's supporting the show at the same time. So you're going to, you know, it's kind of. You still have to blame them because that's how we're still around that is his fault that we're doing this nice job Brian

But I thought it would be good a lot of times we get new listeners who aren't familiar with who we are we sometimes

Kind of you know, it's not really good that we take

it for granted that people know who we are based on what we do in the video world online or

maybe they've just been, you know, friends of ours for a long time online. So here we go.
