Wihoo! Yeah, so that's scary and all.

On today's show, we're talking about one thing and one thing only,

and that is a question we got from someone asking about hand tools

and whether or not they improve your power tool woodworking skills.

Yes. Let's jump right into okay and if you would want to work with power tools after hand tools I mean

come on is so biased oh my lord there's nothing that creates a power tool

user faster than handtles and that's all I have to say. So let's get to the question here. Where is it?

Crap. I forgot to copy it's from Tim, right? It came from Tim. Okay. It's very simple. It just says we'll becoming proficient with hand tools help your skills on woodworking machines.

Okay, so we've got three perspectives here and we'll see if we have common ground on our thoughts on this.

Because I've sort of gone power tool and migrated back toward hand tools and found my happy spot

somewhere in the middle. Shannon Shannon you started with power tools and

migrated completely to hand tools and Matt I think you're probably pretty close to

where I am these days right using a good balance of both hand tools and power tools.

Yes, absolutely.

Did any of us start our woodworking careers,

ventures, whatever you want to call it, with hand tools?

I don't think so, right?
