And in a word, oof.

I mean, it was a really tough day yesterday for the markets, and I think that the big thing was everybody is

waiting for the other shoe to drop and the other shoe dropped and it was a boot and it was like everyone expected technology stocks to come off their highs,

but then it was the retail sector. So we had on Monday, Walmart having its worst decline

since the crash of 87.

Tuesday we had Target has a worse decline

since the crash of 87.

So everybody's worried about a recession,

the consumer, the spending humility, it's a really tough outlook out there.

Well, with the rise in retail spending for the fourth straight month to a seasonally

adjusted 0.9% and these retailers essentially taking a hit on their
