superstars who've died unexpectedly and at a relatively young age.

Last week, Canadian Rowdy, Roddy Piper died of a heart attack aged just 61,

joining a long list of former wrestlers to have died early.

Here he is back in 1997 in action at Halloween Havoc, which was hosted by the

So that got us thinking do former professional wrestlers die sooner than the rest of the

population well David Rhodes has been looking into this for us and David what do we

know well John Moriarty from the University of Manchester has reviewed the evidence

that he's out there for us and he says that there is clear statistical evidence to show that

wrestlers have an increased risk of dying younger compared with the

rest of the population and those that play other sports.
