large numbers of

people who are claiming asylum in their countries. Many people are welcoming of refugees,

while others say that Europe is full up, just can't take any more. With this debate as a backdrop,

the Norwegian Refugee Council made the following eye-catching claim.

More refugees sought safety in Uganda per day at the end of 2016

than many wealthy European countries received the entire year.

And the point they're making, that while Europe argues about whether they should be

accepting more refugees, there are countries which are facing much greater pressures
