We're your weekly guide to the numbers all around us and I'm Tim Harford. We're flying around the world this

week in a quest to find the source of a statistic that has been causing headaches

for students, teachers and politicians alike. Listen members of the audience and one

particular question caught our attention.

If you went to primary school today, left in 15 years time, 65% of the jobs that will be on

offer do not exist today.

How are we training the young so they will feel comfortable in that new world?

65% of the jobs in 2032 don't even exist.

We've heard that prediction before on more or less and we're not the only ones.

There's lots of variations.

65% of today's grade school kids will end up at a job that hasn't been invented yet. 60% of 11 year olds will leave school to do jobs which

have not yet been invented. The top 10 in demand jobs in 2010 didn't exist in 2004. We are currently preparing
