When I was growing up, we pretty much benefited from every government food assistance program that was made available to us.

I mean, from food stamps to free lunch and that big old block of cheese.

I still have fond memories of that cheese.

I mean, it was so thick and dense and you could melt it down and it'd be all gooey.

And you talk about making a good cheese sandwich.

Man, good Lord.

Anyway, I think we got about $50 worth a month.

That supplemented the $175 my mama made cleaning, babysitting, and cooking for three white families.

And I really don't know, no shortage of white friends who have known no shortage of white people in my life that haven't also benefited from the program.

But I've also known a few blacks and some others that are absolutely clueless about it.

They see it as more of a rumor or stereotype or something.

But there's been this rumor that's been circulated around on a variety of conservative outlets

from a variety of conservative voices or conservative believers who include social media that since the liberals got in charge, since the Democrats got in charge, since radicals got in charge, but more specifically, probably since Obama got in charge, you could interchange the story by this first part.

Anyway, since these people got into office, blacks have been allowed to use or work the system to get benefits,

mostly free food and money,

thus allowing them to get more assistance than truly needy whites

for whom the program was initially meant for.
