You know, it seems like to me the word urban is synonymous with black and American culture.

Urban culture. The urban scene, urban art, urban blight, urban crime, urban

renewal, overpopulation, substandard housing, ghettos, gangs, hip-pop, blacks live in cities, big cities of the South, bigger cities

of the Northeast and the Midwest, the West Coast.

Now, I really can't even recall in my lifetime, ever meeting another black person that is more than one generation from the South,

or who can't draw their family roots from the South in some way.
