So, who are black American leaders anyway? And to whom? What black people are and were best suited or situated to provide direction? Who has influence? How is it used?, this is a topic that's not going to look at every

noteworthy black American in American history, but just focuses on a small slice of those

that typify philosophy or way of thinking, the emergence, and the struggle for influence

in legitimacy. But I thought I'd go a little bit deep on the topic, but to do so, I needed to

break it up into digestible perspectives of each significant era, giving you a pause

to really see how the threads are connected. So the general topic of black leadership will be

divided into three parts. The three separate podcast episodes. The first, origins and sources.

The second, the leadership class.

And the third, divided and united.
