Now, I'm speaking primarily from my part of the country where I was born in Rio,

In the years I spent stationed in the South during my military careers in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, and spending some time in every other remaining Southern state, I have concluded there is the existence of a long-standing and dangerous nostalgia for the past that some Americans long for.

In America where only the concerns of the few were considered worthy of consideration. A history not founded and accepted historical research, but grounded in an attitude supported by fiction.
