This week's podcast is an interesting one, a little different than what we usually do.

Typically we either do these interviews in our local studio here in Austin or the gear is

mobile so sometimes we'll take it on the road and set it up and interview

people wherever the hell we are. This one was recorded in front of a live

audience at the Texas Tribune Fest. And not only is that different, but it was not an

interview with just one person. It's an interview with three people. And it's an

interesting panel. So you have Pam Goloff from ProPublica, Mike Hall from Texas Monthly,

and Tony Plahetsky from the Austin American States. All three of these people are covering

cases, criminal cases, or have covered

criminal cases in the past of people, with the exception of Tony Plahesky, who's still

covering the Greg Kelly case here in Austin, which is very much ongoing.

And I've made the position very clear on my socials

that I believe Greg Kelly is innocent.

So the others, of course, have covered cases in the past Pam Coloff covered a forward

podcast alum Michael Morton very very intensely.

My call covered the Carrie Max Cook case for years and years and

years. So these are guys and gals that have covered people, men and women that are

innocent and have said they're innocent. So the juxtaposition of their lives and their stories and my life and my story, a little

interesting. But nonetheless, I, because of my experience with Michael Morton and having him on this show,

I just started following these cases closer and closer, and especially the Greg Kelly case here in
