| 1:10.9 | What? In Harrisburg, Tennessee. Yes. Because our topic is wrong place, wrong time, and nothing could be more wrong place, wrong time than being on the Titanic. You know what, Honest, that's very true. And I think when you start thinking about the wrong place, the wrong time, the first thing that comes to your mind is an accident. It is. It is. And that's what the Titanic was. Right. And it's just, yeah, I mean, it's like you could have ridden any other boat. You could have, you know, or, you know, you're on the Titanic, but you get in a lifeboat. So that's, that's not the wrong place, wrong time. But if you don't get in the lifeboat, right? That's the difference right there. then the place becomes, not that they take, the place becomes the lifeboat itself. I like that. I like this whole topic. And you know, our guest tonight, Jay London, he brought this topic to our attention. He did, he did. He's a man who knows about wrong place, wrong time. He knows about right place, right time, too. but nobody wants to hear a story about things going right. That's very true, isn't it? |
| 1:29.1 | That's not interesting. |
| 1:29.8 | People like to hear about despair, don't they? Yeah, nobody is like, yeah, so I won $10,000 in the lottery and that I met this hot model. And I spent, no, it's like, I walked outside and the bus knocked me across the street. Let's hear about that. That's a hilarious story. |
| 1:44.4 | You know, one time when I was in college, my college roommate, she went to a family reunion and her uncle was going to parachute in on the, like the parachute from the plane and ran in this lake and they were going to pick him up in the boat. But guess what? Parachute didn't open. Boom. Flat in the lake. He just died. He just, he'd right in front of the whole family. |
| 2:01.5 | So talk about wrong place, wrong time. |
| 2:03.3 | He parachuted right out. |
| 2:04.7 | Talk about it. boom, flat in the lake. He just died. He just, right in front of the whole family. |
| 2:01.5 | So talk about wrong place, wrong time. |
| 2:03.3 | He parachuted right out. |
| 2:04.7 | Talk about an entrance, right? That is hilarious. That sounds like something that would happen to my family if we had any ambition to get up in airplanes, which we don't. I hear what you're saying. Hey, Honest, you know that on a storyworthy podcast.com, We have the Amazon.com banner ad. |
