With a country divided, the Republican risk and morality being redefined, it's time to gather

around the campfire, get back to basics, and spark the revival that this country so desperately

needs.

This is the American Campfire Revival with Cook Cameron.

We desperately need life to be brought back into our own hearts.

When we feel dry, when the well of faith is dry and we feel like we've wandered from God,

we need God to send a flood of faith and life back into us.

And we need our marriages, our homes to be revived.

We need our communities to be brought back to life.

And we need our nation to experience revival.

That's where our hope is.

I think it was Chuck Colson that once said,

our hope is not in the power of who governs us or in the laws that we make as a nation.

Our hope is in the power of God

working in the hearts of people.

That is our hope in this country

and that is our hope in life.

That's why I love wearing this hat, because it's my declaration to people about where our hope comes from.

I was with my nephew today going to the pizza place where I study before coming here to talk with you.

And he said, man, I love that because my generation needs to know that too.

We feel so disillusioned. And he says, we're lost and we're looking for answers because we're

being taught to hate people in authority, to mistrust people. We don't know who's telling the truth.
