to end with a baby face beating him for the title in the last hour?

Or would it be better for MJF to win on the last show of the year

and to hop the barricade CM Punk money in the bank style with the story being

he's left the company with the top prize?

I have a very simple answer to this question, I don't think the bidding war storyline works if he's re-signed.

No, or at least if people know he is re-signed, right?

Which we seem to after the thing that happened after Dynamite the other week

when he was like, thank you Tony Khan for making me a very rich man in 2024.

So if it is known that MJF has re-signed and it kind of is now,

it's certainly got a lot more quiet, that side of the story has been.

If that's a known thing, then the intrigue is not in the storyline,

which means you cannot recapture the magic of CM Punk in 2011,

which to me means you should abandon it and not do it,

because it's not going to be as good.

The whole thing with CM Punk money in the bank 2011,

it was that you genuinely thought that CM Punk was walking out of the company in 2011,

it didn't emerge that he'd re-signed until afterwards or at least for most people.
