It's very rare that the OTJ ever gets anything wrong, but I'm man enough to admit that sometimes I make incorrect calls.

When I said last year that the Rock was going to win the Rumble, I was wrong.

Or was I? Because at the end of the day, it's just slightly different in that big family tree picture that the Rock had in Las Vegas that time.

I was only slightly off with Jay Uso.

I think I'm right in thinking actually, because you win the Royal Rumble, you are involved in the main event of WrestleMania.

Oh look! Who was everyone talking about after John Cena versus Cody Rhodes?

Was it John Cena? No. Was it Cody Rhodes? No. Was it the fiend bloke? No. Who's the rock? Where were you, pal? What's going on? And also, I'm probably only a year or two off because let's be honest, he's either winning it next year in Saudi or the year after that when WrestleMania follows that in Saudi. So pretty close actually. So who's wrong? Yeah.

So wrestling predictions I got horribly wrong in 2025. I mean, as I'm recording this, I suppose it could change, but it doesn't seem likely.

He could retire with the IC title. I'm recording this today before Survivor

series, but I don't think it's going to happen or the week before Survivor Series. But yes, I said that John Cina would retire as WWE champion or at least hold that WWE championship until his last match when he would put somebody over. So it could still happen again with the IC belt, but I have to hold my hands up. I didn't think he was going to win the intercontinental title. In hindsight,

If anybody deserves to have a run with every single belt that WWE has had, of course is John Cena, absolutely one of the goats. If you told me he wasn't in the conversation, I'd look at you strangely because see propped WW up at a time when they were desperate for somebody to do that because business was all over the place.

But I was wrong. And he did win the World Championship. But I think most people assumed that. I thought he'd become, yeah, never seen 17. Then he holds it throughout the year. Then you have one big final challenge and he can either retire with the belt, which he didn't think w w would do Alasting or he would lose it and that would just create this new nuclear juggernaut. But I suppose really, again, looking back, just John Cena in general losing to somebody is going to send them into the stratosphere as I'm sat here today. It sounds like Gunth was going to be that guy. Now I'll create some controversy, which I would imagine is just people be like, no, John Cena can't lose. But once more, this is before Survivor series. I'm a bit convinced that Dominic Mysterio may win that I see title back by cheating and cheating and cheating, which sends up the Dom Ray feud, even better. I didn't think about that at the time, because then Ray could be like, why did you do that to John Cena? I don't have to Ray's voice in his penultimate match.

But yes, I don't know what I'm talking about. Made a huge mistake. Obviously, John Cena lost that back in August, September, October, November, December. So I was four months off. I mean, nowhere near, really. It was never going to happen. I sorry I didn't predict he was going to turn heel either, which is now also a point of contention. I'm still happy to stick with it because that moment at the elimination chamber was

awesome and it was so happy to be a part of it and see all the reactions and of course we make content. So getting to put opinions out there and see what was coming back. But sure, they didn't really stick the landing. But we don't have to worry about that because the last six months have been great But yeah, I don't know what I'm talking about, but we knew that anyway.

Usually I go for a bit of an outrage one on this. I sometimes just paste the prediction from the last video last year and throw it in here, which is kind of what I've done here. But this one, I'm actually all right with kind of getting it wrong, to be honest, because the man's had a very good year. So I predicted last year on the video that this man here, Brody King, would get a world title run somewhere. It didn't happen, obviously. He's not been a singles world champion in AEW. But he's had a great year. So I've got no complaints whatsoever. I'm actually quite happy, I'm wrong, because we found one of the coolest things the AEW did this year, and that being Brodie Do. So, I actually like Brodie King's start to the year. I love the aesthetic of the Hounds of Hell. I love the flames and all this stuff. I love the new music, and I love him and buddy Matthews going off and doing their own thing after escaping Malachi blacks. His circle of lorry they did man they turned their back um i love the idea of these guys going off and doing their own thing

and i thought they had a very promising start then obviously buddy got injured and that kind of derailed

that i did not expect brodie king to have a magical partnership with bandito of all people now i i as much as I enjoy The Hounds of Hell, I think about the year,

do I think that Buddy and Brody could have taken off to the same extent?
