self and Tommy Dreamer get into pro wrestling collectibles and figures and who better to talk

about that than AEW's own Ethan Page and our very own Sam Roberts right now on the busted open podcast.

Sam I had to have you on we're doing a show today on figures and collectibles and you know the whole

big subculture of the pro wrestling community that's obsessed with the collectibles and the figures

and I know that you're in that world as well I know you love the collectibles and the figures

is there one figure or collectible for you that's the one that's most near and dear to your heart.

That's a super tough question I mean for me the Hasbro's were the most important because they're

the ones I grew up with you know I think that we always tie it back to what we had as kids and

even as adult collectors we're all just either buying things that we had as kids or that we wanted

as kids that we would have wanted as kids but there was a growing up I remember I got

WWF magazine and there was an advertisement in it for the mailaways which was Hulk Hogan in red

Bret Hart in the Undertaker and I was like well I'm not gonna mail away for these figures I'll

just wait till they're in stores problem was they were never in stores and they became like the

and a lot of people felt that way so they got really rare they were some of the first Hasbro's to

really skyrocket in value and a few years back before it really blew up in price I was able

to finally get the mail away Hogan in the plastic bag that it was sent in and so that's probably if

I had to narrow it down to one that's probably the one that I love you know the most maybe because

there's the one that in essence got away and it took you years it was kind of like your holy

grail if you will that you needed to get and I can understand that and you know we had Eric
