Hey, friends, welcome back to another solo episode here. It's just me on the podcast today. We are going to be getting back to our family chats that we've had

Jason joining where we've just been diving into all kinds of different topics within the family.

Those have been really fun and I know they've been really, really popular here on the show.

We just have to find some time to sit down and record together. So originally Jason was going to

join me for this chat on homeschooling

because he is very involved in our homeschooling. But today he's taking the three little kids

outside to play in the sunshine while I record this. And actually historically, I've always done

our homeschool chats by myself anyway. So what I'm going to do today, you're going to notice

that when I break

down this past year of homeschooling, it's a little bit chaotic and weirly twirly because that is

how our year went. Really looking forward to next year. And I'm going to kind of briefly break down

what we're going to be doing next year. I'm just going to be sharing kind of the basics of our homeschool.

And then, of course, there's always added things that we do.

There's always hands-on projects and lots of other things that we kind of sprinkle

throughout the year.

But today I'm just going to focus kind of on that core curriculum.

I, like I said, I am getting really excited

to dive into this next year because we're walking into this year in a much better place.

So I don't even remember. I'd have to go back and look at my episode that I recorded this time

last year. I have no clue what I really was even preparing for the next year because

we kind of stopped and scrapped our homeschool plans like twice last year. They drastically changed.
