Appreciate you listening and downloading the show today. And keep up all the awesome ratings and reviews over on Apple podcast. Those are great. I'm constantly blown away by the support we get, especially this time of year. You get to see the download numbers, kind of the year over year numbers and how they kind of sort of new heights every season. Same goes for the score fantasy football draft kid. The numbers on that. I'm sure that it helps that we're continuing to update it daily. Page views just going through the roof compared to past years. So that's great. I know today I added offensive line rankings, did some analysis on each team's blockers. So make sure you check that out. I've also gone back. I've updated some of the original articles that were in there, the breakouts, the bus, the sleepers, all that stuff, because we've had injuries happen. We have new information coming out of training camp. I want to make sure you're up to date on all of it, and I want to make sure that you're covered. So go check that out. As for today's show, we're in the middle of our position preview series last week.

And you're probably already following him on Twitter, but he's at late round QB. JJ, welcome back to the show, buddy. How you been? I've been good, man. I've been good. I appreciate you having me on. All right. Well, normally I start all these position preview episodes with a little bit of news off the top, but there hasn't been that much big news in the last few days, lots of little items, nothing really too significant. Maybe I should knock on wood or something because at any moment we could have somebody tear their ACL. We do not want to see that happen. We did have Russell Gage leave practice today. He pulled up on one-on-ones. I have not seen an update there yet. So fingers crossed, that's nothing serious. I don't want to speculate too much on the severity of the injury. So we won't go into detail with him. But there is one injury that's kind of been lingering for a while here that I do want to talk about because it could have some impact on a couple of top receivers. And that's Matthew Stafford's elbow issue. And we've talked about this in the show before it's a little concerning maybe not for his week one availability but something that could pop up

2:24.0

you know during the season and cause him problems later on he's been back at practice lately though

2:28.9

and by all accounts he's throwing the ball really well so maybe that calms our nerves a little bit

2:33.6

JJ how have you reacted to the the Staff elbow issue? Is it making you lower any of these Rams past catchers at all? Or you're not really worried about it? I would say not significantly, but I think that, you know, if you have, let's say, Cooper Cup and Justin Jefferson in the same tier, it's fine to go with Justin Jefferson over Cooper Cup over cooper cup at this point you know that's a good

2:50.9

tiebreaker um but you know the rams have known about this they've managed it they have one of the

2:55.7

best medical staffs in football which is great uh doctor doctor physical therapy uh edwin porras of

3:01.3

of fantasy points he doesn't seem concerned either and he studies this stuff for a living um and

3:06.2

it seems like so far so good with Stafford,

3:08.3

as you noted, and this being more of like a pain management thing. And the other thing with Stafford that we have to keep in mind, that dude is tough. I mean, we've seen, uh, these, you know, footage and clips of him in the past when he was with Detroit, uh, you know, playing games with like a dislocated shoulder and such.

3:23.2

I mean, he's a very, very tough quarterback.

3:25.5

And so I think it's still fine to draft cup. playing games with like a dislocated shoulder and such. I mean, he's a very, very tough quarterback.

3:25.6

And so I think it's still fine at draft cup and Robinson at ADP. If you want to slide them down

3:31.0

within a tier, I think that's totally fine, totally rational. But I don't want to go overboard with
