I'm Conoror and we are going to be previewing the wild card playoff games a little bit later in the show

but we're going to start with some of the coach openings and some of the

developments over the last two days and we're starting with

well the most recent of these openings and that is the

Giants did indeed move on from Joe Judge after I don't know a couple days of look like

he was going to be safe after all.

Yeah, really strange, um, really strange situation there, but not completely out of character for the Giants. I think the Giants fancy

looking like the most pragmatic franchise, you know I remember every time we had an

embattled coach I mean I covered a lot of the Tom

Coughlin teams especially towards the end and they would do this a lot they would

wait like two or three they would kind of soft leak at some point that he was probably

leaning towards safe, but then there was like a two or three day waiting period and

then you would wait for the white smoke to come out and then you'd go over to the

facility and you'd hear them talk about how why they believe in him or why you know whatever and if I had to

imagine you know they had a meeting with Joe Judge I think they probably heard what his thoughts were

for the future but I think ultimately they they probably

first dove in to the GM hiring process and probably

probably talked to some people who were in the know there and everyone said there's a 0% chance you're going to get a good GM if you keep this

guys the head coach. You're just, you know, unless you get Monty awesome for it from Tennessee who kind of knows Joe Judge, there's a 0% chance you're

getting anybody that's worth, uh, worth salt. Whereas if you get rid of Joe Judge,
