dad was gay when I was 10, we were in a convertible on the 405 freeway, listening to the B-52s.

Looking back, I should have said, this is gay. This is already all gay.

Today's tip is that you can save money and avoid clutter

by trying not to pay attention to sales. When you are thinking about buying something, ask yourself if you would pay full price. If you would then a sale is saving you money. If you

wouldn't then it isn't really saving you much of anything. I am a frugal person so I am always

drawn to sales but like many frugal people I have had the experience of buying something I didn't truly want because it was on sale.

Think a sweater and a color that I didn't really like.

Then I didn't really like. Then I didn't wear it. So rather than spending, let's say, $60 on something

I would have worn, I spent $30 on something, I didn't.

It's hard to see how that was better.

Avoid buying two of those $30 un-loved sweaters

and you could have fully funded the good one.

Anyway because of experiences like that I am trying to ask myself this question

would I pay full price?

If the major reason I am buying something is that it is on sale,
