Bovidae: Cloven-hoofed (split hoof) ruminating mammals.

Cloven-hoofed: A divided hoof with two main points that look like toes, divided in the middle.

Ruminant Animals: Animals with separate compartments in their stomachs and a unique way of digesting food, including chewing their food two times.

Mammal: A group of animals that have hair or fur, are warm-blooded, have a backbone, (most) have live births, and feed their babies with milk from their bodies.

Keystone Species: A plant or creature that is very important for keeping other plants or creatures in its ecosystem alive. 

Extinct: A creature is no longer living on earth. There are no more of its species.

Ecologically Extinct: A creature that still exists but no longer plays a very important role in their ecosystem, simply because there are not enough of them to fill that role as God’ intended.
