Father, somehow that song ran through my mind afresh.

I'm so glad to be part of the family of God.

Okay. of the family of God. I am, Lord. I don't know, Lord, if

people that don't travel so much,

and I hope they don't.

Know the feeling of coming home like those of us who do I love looking at

these young families with babies in their arms and sticking around long enough to

see him about six or seven years later

often walk down that aisle with that same dad decide they want Jesus for themselves.

You are everything.

There is nothing of meaning or lasting value that is apart from you.

You are life.

Father, I remember in the gospel where Christ asked the disciples after many deserted him,

will you leave me too?

And the response was, where would we go?

You have the words of life. So, Father, we ask you to make your

words, the words of life to us today. I think, Father, that one of my biggest frustrations

is also my greatest joy. One of my biggest frustrations is,

why don't we do what we talk about? My greatest joy is when we do. Speak us about that this morning.
