Nehemiah chapter 10 verse 35.

We obligate ourselves to bring the first fruits of our ground and the first fruits of all fruit of every

tree year by year to the house of the Lord.

On the simple verse, simple picture demonstrating how God's people when they receive God's

grace, God's blessing, first and foremost want to give back to God for the work of God out of the

overflow of His grace in their lives.

They say we want to give our first fruits of our ground,

the first fruits of all fruit of every tree

we're going to bring to the house of God.

And you just think about what kind of effect

this would have on their lives, on their hearts,

on their minds, and their whole perspective on life whenever God would bless them with the fruit of a tree

or the fruit of the ground that the first thing they would do was set apart some for the house of God to glorify God to

praise God for his grace in their lives to remind them that he was the ultimate reason why they had these things and they were

stewards of the blessing God had given to them and as a result the house of the Lord and the work of the

Lord would flourish through their giving through their offerings and I just want to

ask you are you giving the first fruits out of the overflow of God's

grace in your life is your first and foremost priority to be to give to God, to his work, to the worship of his name.

And yes, this applies to our financial resources as you receive

blessing financially materially from God's hand are you first and foremost giving away the first fruits of what you receive to God's work.

I want to encourage you to receive to God's work.
