month of November already it seems like 2022 has just sped by and I'm thankful that

our God has been faithful every single one of those days and we'll continue to be faithful

human let's go now before him to open his word and let him help us get our minds aligned

today we're going to talk about worthless pursuits versus worthy pursuits we're going to

compare the two and see what one of them looks like compared to the other this is found in

Proverbs 28 verses 19 and 20 this is whoever works his land will have plenty of bread but he who

follows worthless pursuits will have plenty of poverty a faithful man will abound with blessings

but whoever hastens to be rich will not go unpunished all right let's just walk through it

phrase at a time and understand what Solomon's telling us here whoever works his land will have

plenty of bread now they lived in an agrarian culture meaning they grew crops they grew their food

they kept sheep and goats and things like that for their meat they provided for themselves

through the work of their hands and that principle is still true today we as individuals are expected

both in society and by God to provide for ourselves through the work of our hands did you know the

New Testament says if a man will not work he should not eat that's even among Christians you see
