All righty I'm super excited. We start a brand new series today.

We're going to take about a month and we're going to look at worship.

And I really believe that this is something that the Lord wants us to individually and collectively focus on and grow in during this season.

And so I'm super, super exciting.

If you've got a Bible, you can go to Revelation Chapter 4 four that's where we'll be but the difference

between Christian worship and non-Christian worship is very very significant and very

very simple in every other religion other than Christianity we go up to God

through your good works your karma paying off your debt through cycles of birth and

rebirth through going to sacred places and doing sacred things, you're making yourself

acceptable to God and you're bringing yourself into God's presence.

Christianity is antithetical and opposed to that.

We don't go up to God, he comes down to us.

We don't earn it.

He gives it to us as a gift of grace, his presence.

And so what we see throughout the Bible is God just continually coming down. There's a guy in the old

Testament named Jacob and a ladder comes down from heaven and angels come down from
