Welcome to the program. Hey, everybody. Good to be here with you. Of course, we have Ryan in the studio. We've got Mike in the comments. Rest of our team, Morgan and Aaron. We've got a full team here to do what we do in this world. And wow, what a world it is these days. Oh my goodness. We are a little bit in crisis in case you hadn't noticed or maybe if you haven't.

Glad you're tuning in.

We're going to cover some of that here tonight.

It's been a pretty incredible week.

I've just been doing everything I can to stand top of it.

And of course, that's just from the information flood standpoint.

And then from the emotional standpoint, wow, a lot of people have been checking in to us saying, this is getting hard.

And so actually the hardest part about all this is going to be our emotional resilience, our ability to actually stay calm, focused, organized, and thriving through this period of time that we're in, which is, I think,

just getting started on the chaos side of things a little bit, and local mileage will vary.

Europe is going to have, it's going to be different than the southern U.S., which is going

to be different from California, which has got its own little arc that is going to have

to live through on this story. It's going to be different from California, which has got its own little arc that is going to have to live through on this story. It's going to be different everywhere. So as we look at this world in

crisis right now, I'm both worried about what we're seeing and really excited, too, because

this is this moment where I think Charles Eisenstein put it best he said this is the interregnum

the interregnum is a period of time between two separate reigns so the reign of the old

king the king is dead long live the king but before you get find out who the new king is going to be

or queen that interregnum is when the power is in balance, when the story is going to get rewritten. And you don't know who that next ruler is going to be. Is it going to be somebody amazing or somebody really awful? And so it matters a lot. We are now between the biggest sets of stories you can imagine as a species. This isn't a U.S. story. It's not Chinese, not India,

Pakistan. This is our species is between stories. Old story. Infinite economic growth on a finite

planet. Yay. We ran that for a while. It was a lot of fun. It was a party. We had a good time.
