Today's Bastille Day, so no better day to be talking about French history.

So when I first thought about doing this project, my original thought was to think about

what the strategy of this strange, weird, political thing called Vichy France was.

So for those that don't know, this is what happens after the fall of France in 1940.

The stuff that's basically in pink and red there are occupied directly by the Germans.

The purple thing in the bottom is this strange political animal that becomes known as Vichy France.
