Hello, and welcome to the Rota Wire Fantasy Baseball podcast. Today is, I believe, Tuesday.

It could be Wednesday, where depending on where things are happening, but I think we're just under that where we're recording.

October 24th, I am Chris Crawford. I'm joined by my good friend Drew Silva, and we are about to do some World Series talk.

We finally have our matchup set.

It took a long time, but we have everything set.

And just like everybody predicted, Drew, we've got Arizona against Texas for the world championship.

The sixth seed versus the five seed.

The NCAA tournament equivalent of like a

five versus a seven something like that you know something along those lines maybe an eight

versus like an upstart 11 maybe he would be a better uh comparison either way it is definitely

not a one versus a one, but it was pretty

fun to get here, wasn't it? Yeah, I mean, I think someone tweeted out a stat that like underdogs

in this postseason had a 689 winning percentage. And I saw that earlier this morning, so

up that to like around 700. So if yeah, if you were betting on the

underdogs throughout October, you're, you're doing pretty well right now. Hey, man, like, you know,

the wild card series were sweeps and we were kind of groaning about that. But, you know,

the division series were interesting. And then to have both championship series go to game seven, as a person without a dog in the fight, I just want to be entertained.

And I was thoroughly entertained that this game seven of the NLCS that just wrapped up before we hopped on was a pretty thrilling game.

I'm sure Phillies fans to have to lose both games at

home to drop the series um but but we can get into them and get into the diamond backs kind of

look back and look forward with with what we have left i don't want the baseball season to end i'm

kind of glad there's what is it a two full days off before the World Series starts,
