Mormonism to be true? We have a world-renowned Bible expert weighing in, and some of you may be wondering how on earth it is that we could approach an issue such as this.

Well, we're going to show you exactly how, and you'll get the hang of it.

First off, here's Bart Erman. Dr. Bart Erman, Professor of New Testament Studies, University of

North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Perhaps some of you have heard of him. Yeah, he's a big deal.

This is what it says on Wikipedia. Bart Erman is an American biblical scholar whose research

focuses on the textual criticism of the New Testament, the historical Jesus, and the origins and development of early

Christianity, or as he might put it, early Christianity's. He is the James A. Gray

Distinguished Professor of Religious Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He is the author or editor of more than 30 books, including six New York

Times bestsellers, and has created nine lecture series with the great courses.

Erman also runs a membership blog whose proceeds support charities that address hunger and homelessness.

As of March 2025, so a year ago, the blog had reportedly raised more than $3 million.

Wow.
