It is, of course, decision day for Donald Trump as he has imposed the 8 p.m. Eastern deadline on Tuesday night for Iran, or he's going to blow the

hell out of the bridges and the power plants, or so he says. I'm not sure I believe that entirely.

We have also gotten reports early on Tuesday morning that Karg Island, which is to the north part of

the Persian Gulf, has explosions being reported there. And a lot of people were thinking maybe his option or action on this day would be to go

for Karg Island and try to control the entire flow of all the oil in the Persian Gulf and not

really the Strait of Hormuz.

The Karg Island you heard so much about is well to the north of the strait itself, but it has a whole bunch of

oil infrastructure on this island. I think about 20 miles off the coast of Iran, an airstrip,

ports, all kinds of things. It controls a lot of what happens in the Persian Gulf. So we don't know.

I'm not going to start with that here today on the podcast because this is going to be ongoing. And it's very difficult in the podcast format to speak a lot about what's going on in Iran, especially on a decision day or deadline day like this for Donald Trump. But I didn't want you to think I was ignoring that story. We will get to more of that a little bit later in the podcast. But many of you listen hours and hours and hours later or maybe even days later after putting the podcast up.

And sometimes that information can be incomplete or a little bit silly sounding after things have happened.

I just believe this about Donald Trump.

I don't think he's telling the truth about all the bridges and power

plans. I think maybe a couple targeted that they believe will do some damage to the regime,

but I don't think he's going to disable this entire country. I don't believe that. I think he is

planning something else and doesn't want them to know what it is and wouldn't be saying that publicly.

So we'll start today with some goings on here locally as it's election day in Missouri, municipal elections and nonpartisan elections for school board officials.
