This is the World Cup daily, but fundamentally it is an Arsenal Vision podcast. And the news is not great on Gabriel J. Zeus. I've heard three to four weeks. I've heard four to five weeks. I'm just going to level with you. I'm skeptical to any report because I find it difficult to believe that all the scans that are necessary have been done and that we fully know what the situation is. And I'm way too well versed in arsenal injury tragedies to be ready to just assume everything's going to be even remotely okay yet. I'll wait until he gets home, but he is indeed heading home on a plane to London as of tonight, as I understand it. That now, that may be a good sign because honestly, if you have a bad knee injury, they might not want to put you on a plane and have you sit on a plane for a few hours. So I don't know, maybe that is a good sign. But I'm a little concerned also at how long he was running around on the pitch with a knee injury because he didn't want to come off for Brazil because he desperately wanted to impress. It's a terrible end to his World Cup, emotionally difficult for him. I think he's been given a very rough ride by some Brazil fans. And now he has to head home and rehab and injury.

What are your early thoughts on Gabriel Jesus heading home from the World Cup and what it might mean for Arsenal in terms of his injury?

Yeah, obviously, priority number one, get the guy fit, just get him fit.

My first thought today was I really, really strongly doubt that he'll play on Boxing Day.

If he's fit to play on the 26th of December, if there's any chance for him being fit to play

on the 26th of December, then I don't think Brazil would be sending him back to London

because the World Cup final was on the 18th December.

It's only a week earlier.

It's not an enormous amount of time.

So I think it was then a chance of him playing in three weeks,

then Brazil would probably keep him around for the chance that he's fit to play in two

weeks.
