Okay, it's day 14. We've just finished watching the Senegal Columbia game.

We didn't get a chance to watch the Japan-Poling game,

although it doesn't really sound like it made too much of a difference.

Poland won that 1-0, but for Japan they're through anyway.

wasn't it? Because in the first half, I think we all would have agreed that Senegal looked a better team. They didn't create enough chances and, crucially, they didn't take any in the first half. And of course, it was going to be obvious that Columbia were going to come out in the second half, determined to get a result. You know, potentially that's a point where there's only 45 minutes of World Cup football left and without wanting to sing a cliche, anything can happen.
