Hi, I'm Beth, I'm an alcoholic.

I'm Adam and alcoholic.

Hi, Adam.

Just real quick, we may or may not split this chapter in two weeks.

There's a lot of stuff that Beth had to sit next.

So, but yeah, we'll get right into it.

And the first thing that Beth wanted to talk about was we have, we hope we have made clear

the distinction between the alcoholic and the non-apocalyptic.

So, we're on page 44 in the very beginning of We Agnostics and we spend 44 pages talking

about the problem as we see it, the problem as alcoholics anonymous sees it.

If you've gotten to this part in the book and you're going forward, as it says in the

rest of the paragraph, if you honestly want to and you find you cannot quit entirely

or if when drinking you have little control over the amount you take, you're probably alcoholic.

And that was for me, those were the two big ones to qualify my alcoholism.

Going forward, we're not going to talk a whole lot if at all about alcohol.

We're going to start talking about the rest of the disease and symptoms and the solution

to get free.
