Summary

I had a listener request to repost this one, so here you go, if you have a favorite you cant get to on your podcast player feel free to ask for a repost. Joe H conducts a very good workshop called the Big Book Spiritual Experience at an unknown Central Valley Group in California in 2004. This workshop is just under 7 hours long. There is a bit of garbled recording at 3:52-3:58 but then the conference takes a break and when they resume the problem is resolved. Repost I got an event listing recently and since its coming up soon I wanted to give them a shoutout here, its a 12 Step Workshop that is being held in Peterborough Ontario Canada on Feb 3rd, full details on the events page (they had me at the mention of pizza). https://scast.us/events Also if you have any AA or Al-Anon event coming up let me know I am happy to help get the word out. My sobriety date is August 17, 1982, and I'm very grateful for that date. For a long time I was told and I had an idea that gratitude was just an emotion and that I could go home and make the right list or think about

I would just get angrier. I found out gratitude is in action, not in emotion. And I express my gratitude for Alcoholics Anonymous by responding to what I'm asked to do.

And it's a horrible thing to become somebody in an anonymous program. And I did in my own mind at least and I remember at my home group once in Santa Monica a guy came all the way from the valley or something like two hours and he asked a couple people where's Joe Hawk and they pointed me out and he came over and he said I came all the way from the valley just to meet you. I said why?
