We're going to try to put something together here from an introduction of the ABCs or

of alcohol, ego and self that would then go from there into some kind of a step purpose

or step meaning of the recovery program from there, not from going into steps so it's

a hard original, mostly another original part of what I said where I had a sponsor that

taught me steps and he taught a great deal about alcoholism and he also had nine years

of being sober while he was talking to me when I was brand new and I thought at times

that I could maybe in a period of nine years that I might be able to achieve something

that he had because all I'd have to do is do what he did and that's what that's how

you got that way.

And then I found out that the application needed to do the change or make the change necessary.

I didn't understand anything at all about the alcoholism, ego and self and so then

when I got in the steps and having no luck in steps as far as the change that would take

place in me because the purpose behind the steps I couldn't understand that an application

was important to benefit from was there in last year.

So I had to start again and this is what we talked about last night with the understanding

or the awareness of what alcoholism is, the disease, where it's at, how it's out there

and then the legal factor plus who that is being itself.
