| 0:39.3 | And what we're going to do this morning is talk about as AA lost its edge. |
| 0:47.3 | You hear a lot of things around Alcoholics Anonymous. |
| 0:52.3 | And one of the things that you hear is that there was a time |
| 0:56.9 | we had a 75% success rate and now it's down to 10, maybe 5% or less. That we've lost something. |
| 1:07.9 | Somehow the message has been diluted. The fellowship is different than it used to be. |
| 1:13.6 | We're not working the steps correctly. The meetings are structured corely. The message is not being conveyed. |
| 1:21.6 | So what we'd like to do is we'd like to address some of that. And Jay and I are blessed to be able to travel around AA a bit and talk to a lot of people. |

| 1:37.3 | And both of us are cursed with the fact that we think we know some stuff. |

| 2:01.7 | And one of the things that he really loved was Alcoholics Anonymous. |
| 2:04.6 | And he loved watching us and he knew a lot about us. |
| 2:07.4 | And he would talk about us and he would always preface his talks with, |
| 2:11.6 | I can't stop smoking. |
| 2:13.6 | So whatever you hear from me is worthless. |
