I remember for a long time I was a real whiner sober, you know, and have you started yet?

I was a real whiner for a long time sober, you know, it was like how are you at home?

You know, people are looking at me funny and I don't know if you know Clint H or ever heard

Clint H. He's one of my favorite people. He's from out of California. If you ever get a chance

to hear Clint hear him, he's a wonderful man and I love him very much. Clint came up to me one

time and said, Ed, how are you? Well, you know, they're not treating me right at work. And he looked

at me and he said, you know Ed, you got to fight through a lot of happiness to be that miserable,

don't you? My ones, what am I looking at? The ones are the 299 and my fighting through a lot of

happiness to be that miserable? The answer is a lot of times yes if I'm not real careful.

I want to tell you a story that came to mind at break and it's about grieving. I understand grieving.

I've had two brothers killed by drunk drivers. I had a sister-in-law commit suicide. Another brother-in-law

put a gun to his head. He died after two years as a vegetable. I watched my mother die a cancer.

I mean I've been divorced, lost everything I own three times. I understand sadness and I understand

loss. So I'm not poking fun or trying to make light of anybody's sadness. But what I found is

some people want to make grief a profession. I had a guy walk into my office three years ago

and two years ago I guess. And he said, Pastor Ed, I want to talk to you and I said, sure,
